The single greatest threat...

A piece (front page admittedly), by a scientist (not an insignificant one, mind) in a paper (well, speaking of 'significance'... Climate target is not radical enough - study

Meanwhile, the rest of the media and government are a bit busy elsewhere today, tomorrow... next week...

  1. Hmmmm, I respect Hansen, he generally tends to know what he is talking about. But since he upset the US administration he seems to have been largely ignored by the world's meejah.

I suspect the lack of other coverage of his latest research is just typical of the head in the sand attitude that is exemplified by our very own Gov.

Oh, well, if his prediction of a two metre sea level rise by the end of this century is correct, at least our lot will have no choice but to listen, because at each spring high tide they will be paddling around on the floor of the House of Commons!

I believe in freedom of speech. But I also don't like bullies on blogs, even verbal ones, as they can drive away those with something valid to say... or offer.

Subjective is fine, but well argued and substantiated is even better. Calm and polite tops. Anything that crosses my personal line will not go up. There may be reasons given, but not guaranteed.

I'm not too keen on 'Anon' as a handle (and the content usually explains why), so if that's what you opt for it may not make it. Sorry.
