Worried about CO2 and Methane?

Well, apart from these two well known greenhouse gases, there are now a couple more to worry about too, as this from SciScoop reports.

Apparently, concentrations of nitrogen trifluoride (NF3) and sulfuryl fluoride (SO2F2) are rapidly increasing in our atmosphere and both are known to be powerful greenhouse gases.

Just how many more straws can we (mankind) load onto the camel's back?

  1. Criminy! What else?

It's a pity the piece does not go more into the consumer chain that results in these babies. I'm gathering that LCD TVs are bad, and am betting quiet a few ardent lite-greenies have a few in the home even as we bemoan bottled water.

And as for camels, don't go there... I mean just think what their digestive processes do to the planetary burden.

I believe in freedom of speech. But I also don't like bullies on blogs, even verbal ones, as they can drive away those with something valid to say... or offer.

Subjective is fine, but well argued and substantiated is even better. Calm and polite tops. Anything that crosses my personal line will not go up. There may be reasons given, but not guaranteed.

I'm not too keen on 'Anon' as a handle (and the content usually explains why), so if that's what you opt for it may not make it. Sorry.
