I've just installed the first lighting circuit in the new office we are building inside our industrial unit. Have put in 12Volt MR16 LEDs which only consume 2 watts each! Five of these produce as much light as a 100 watt bulb! And the life expectancy is 100,000 hours plus!

These have just got to be the future of all lighting, domestic and commercial. The only downside is that they are not exactly cheap, but I guess prices will drop significantly as production scales up.

I've just started to put LED lights in around my house. The initial cost is going to be more but in the long run I think it will be more cost effective.
